Bengaluru based BHIVE Workspace has received funding from key investors and plans to open its 4th location within a short period of one year. With its goal to attain optimum functioning and enhanced productivity, BHIVE provides accessible and quality plug ‘n’ play workspace to startups in Koramangla, Bangalore. BHIVE is soon opening its fourth location (HSR Sector 4).

The achievement of this startup co-working space has caught the attention of angel investors, and has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Arihant Patni, MD, Hive Technologies, Rajesh Rai, Venture Capitalist & Co-Founder, Venturesity, Raghunandan G, Founder, TaxiForSure, Sanjay Mirchandani, Owner, Mirchandani Group, and Arun Narayan, Director, UK India Business Council.

BHIVE is currently the largest and innovative workspace solution for startups, entrepreneurs and businesses. Which started as a workspace solutions provider, BHIVE after one year of its inception, has been the workspace for 90 startups, covering 400 active members.

Shesh Paplikar, CEO & Founder, BHIVE Workspace, strongly believes that co-working spaces are necessary to develop a rising and lively entrepreneurial network in India. He reflects that while an entrepreneur or startup spends time, efforts and investments on taking an idea to the next height, there creeps up many trivial, yet significant issues which cause diversions, like finding the right workspace, maintenance of office space, bill payments and operations, house-keeping and security, procuring food and beverages etc.

BHIVE’s workspace solution is availed by startups, small businesses and companies. RoadRunnr, which is now a commended startup, started out of a 6 seater cabin in BHIVE Koramangala. Arpit Dave, Co-founder RoadRunnr says, “BHIVE helped us to focus and accelerate in our early phase by providing us with the right scaffolds, requirements met, space, processes etc. We enjoyed our time as BHIVE members and moved out as we started growing big.”

Startups of various sectors like technology, software, mobile, hardware, IOT, fintech, education, innovation, foodtech, gaming, e-commerce, B2B, B2C, hyperlocal, have availed the workspace solution provided by BHIVE.

Vidhya Shankar, Head – Partner Alliances, NASSCOM 10,000 startups says, “Bangalore is witnessing its fair share of development as the startup capital of India. We are glad to expand our support to BHIVE in building an exclusive co-working space that is compatible to the fast expanding eco-system in the city.”

Arihant Patni, MD, Hive Technologies, an investor in BHIVE, says “Entrepreneurs require all the help they can get to accomplish their vision. Having support from a group of counselors and other entrepreneurs in the same space is of huge benefit.
